For me, exercise needs to be fun… otherwise I’m just not doing it! Luckily, I am always having a laugh during Leanne’s programs… mixed with a bit of pain! The reason I feel motivated to go is I feel connected to the exercise program… Leanne makes the entire ‘working-out’ experience enjoyable (well, as much as possible!). I love the different locations where Leanne sets up her exercise sessions. To think I can be sweating up a storm in amongst the gums trees with the kookaburras laughing in the background, or running up and down the concrete bleachers near the school grounds is just awesome. Love it!
Thanks to Leanne my strength, energy and health has improved many times over. Before we started 4years ago  , there was always a reason or excuse not to exercise. That’s all changed as training has become a part of my normal routine. The unexpected surprise was that I’m saving time each week .  I don’t need to think or plan in advance, and results are achieved far quicker with Leanne’s guidance than if left to my own devices. I came to Leanne 4 years ago because I was developing signs of osteoporosis.  Also with the work I do I suffered from frozen shoulder and tennis elbow regularly. I was constantly at my Osteopath for treatment spending a fortune to get my body back in shape.

A few months into training with Leanne I felt great and my body was starting to change. My saggy muscles were starting to build up to what they used to be and look like when I was a teen. I can also add that since I started my training I have yet to suffer from frozen shoulder or tennis elbow. I train twice a week and I love the feeling of being able to jump on a bike and go riding without feeling pain all over my body for the next week. I also love the fact that every year I can hit the ski slopes and enjoy my favourite sport without feeling sore anywhere. ‘Leanne has been coming to Hillbrook for a few years now to offer Boxing/Strength Training sessions for both boys and girls as part of our Project Active program. It is a popular choice, with close to 40 students signing up each semester. Her sessions are always intense and high energy, and despite the students complaining about the amount of pushups they have to do, or how sore their arms are, they leave after each session with a smile on their face and a sense of accomplishment. Leanne has totally impacted my life. Not only am I fitter as a result of the training I have done but she has helped me with eating principles and good habits. As a result of my experience I feel like a different person.

Before I started training with Leanne I was 132kgs. I always had a sore back and knees from the weight and arthritis. I would sit and watch TV and found it hard to do simple tasks or move about. My doctor told me to lose weight or else. I joined a gym but soon lost interest.

Leanne helped me become committed to my weight loss and exercise. She made it fun and for the first time ever I started to see results and had the help and support I needed.

As a result I have become fitter and stronger than ever before in my life. I have transformed from 132kg to 75ks. I have toned up parts of my body I never thought I could and have muscles I can lift things more easily and everyday tasks are easier to achieve my arthritis has improved as a result and I have much more energy. For once in my life I am enjoying exercise and love the results. Shopping is enjoyable now and I find it a lot easier to find styles that suit my new figure.
