Casual Hikes

As part of our specific Fit to Hike Training Programs we head out regularly to explore the great outdoors.


Whether you are planning a Hike, an Adventure Holidays, a Serious Trek or you love hiking and want to get the miles in your legs, strengthen your whole body, improve our balance and mobility. We invite you to join us for our Regularly or Casually for our Training Hikes.



Distance: Between 8 and 15kms


When do we train:
>> Saturdays 4.30 pm (Easy – Moderate)
>> Sundays 6/6.30am (Moderate – Challenging)
>> Wednesdays 7pm (Moderate – Fit)


Where do we train:

Hikes are northside of the Brisbane River including Mt Cootha, Samford and Surrounds, Enoggera Reserve, Camp Mountain, House Mountain, Iron Bark Gully, Mt Glorious, Mt Mee 

and Samford conservation Park.

Cost: Regular Hikes $15


What to wear and bring:

Quality training shoes with good grip, back pack and 2L of water, cap/hat, head torch for night hikes and a rain jacket.
